Oakland University is invested in doing everything possible to protect the health and safety of our campus community.
Toward this end, we have created “Grizzlies Protect Grizzlies: Healthy Together,” a comprehensive plan for safe operations on campus. This plan involves both mitigating the risk of the COVID-19 virus spreading in our community and also working to avoid a virus outbreak on campus. Reducing the spread of the virus is done through mandatory face coverings and ensuring the ability for proper social distancing on campus. One component of the plan to help avoid a campus outbreak is the strategic use of advanced technology as a means to protect our campus.
We spent months searching for ALL possible ways to protect our community. We identified the BioButton as the best possible tool to supplement the other measures identified in the Grizzlies Protect Grizzlies plan. Oakland University is among the first universities in the nation to utilize cutting-edge technology. What is the BioButton?
